Evidence of genre conventions and guidelines

The above shot is of the main character within the short story kicking the chair down onto the floor, which could be a cause for concern regulatory wise, as its a scene of violence, though no action is needed to up the short film's age rating, as the violence is not directed toward another living being, animal nor human. This act of violence is a rash move out of the anger and frustration of the character and could be considered quite understandable as people get more angry over smaller things in real life, and so this is the reason it has been chosen as a 12a Short Film.

Rather than the normal and more casual eye level shots widely used in an array of many different genre's and films, this one in particular is quite unique and befitting of the genre of Thriller, as its instead slightly canted downward, as if looking down slightly at the character either out of pity or remorse, and bearing in mind the context of the short film, pity is all too befitting, and thus it links in as pity is an emotion often demonstrated within other Psychological Thriller Films.
